I design and build functional metal art that lives somewhere between sculpture and structure.
My work can be bold and rustic, or soft and elegant depending on the space. Some projects become sculptural gates or fire pits. Others take the form of wall panels, lighting, furniture, or architectural features. Every piece is made by hand and designed specifically for the place it will live.
I collaborate closely with architects, designers, and homeowners who want something personal. Something that doesn’t come from a catalog.
A LITTLE
BACK STORY
I grew up around builders and makers, learning early how materials behave and how quality work is built.
My creative path began with painting and sewing, but over time evolved into sculpture and three-dimensional work. I quickly realized that the tools and materials used in sculpture were the same ones I had grown up around. Pursuing a career in the trades became the most natural way for me to develop the skills and understanding needed to build the ideas I imagined.
Metal soon became the material that held my attention. It carries strength and permanence, yet offers incredible flexibility for artistic expression. It allows me to combine two things I’ve always cared deeply about: craftsmanship and art.
With over nine years of welding experience, some of my most formative memories come from my early days as an apprentice in metal shops. I spent several years working as an aluminum boat builder in Washington, where the long, demanding days in the shop pushed me to develop both precision and endurance. Knowing those skills would one day translate into my own artwork kept me moving forward.
Today I work from my studio on California’s Central Coast, designing and fabricating pieces that blend structural integrity with artistic vision. My goal is always the same: to create work that feels intentional, lasting, and deeply connected to the space it inhabits.
