About Piper

Growing up in a very creative household, every weekend my Mom would design a new project for the house, and my Father would find a way to turn her vision into a reality. Little did I know, how big of an impact this would have on me. Originally inspired by painting and sewing, I wanted to continue learning new skills and start working with mediums to produce larger scale pieces. After taking welding classes at Bellingham Technical College, I went straight into aluminum boat building. I spent the following year welding and fabricating ferry boats and fishing boats at Mavrik Marine in La Conner, Washington. Since then I have done decorative gates, and functional railings as my own personal projects both for residential and commercial spaces, such as the Crocodile music venue in Seattle, Washington. My background in metal work has started by learning the skills to build strong foundational pieces in both aluminum and steel. My skillset can range from industrial marine welding, to ornamental and functional artistic pieces.

I have experience in a range of media, although I have my own particular preferences that I keep coming back to. If my style speaks to you, I’d love to work with you in the future. Please be in touch to find out more and to discuss how we can collaborate on whatever you have in mind.
